I am a digital sociologist at the University of the Sunshine Coast (Sippy Downs). I have a broad range of scholarly interests, including emerging technology, place and bodies. Primarily my digital work has focused on the intersection of the internet and bodies, how online communities influence the way we make sense of our bodies, and how we manage them. Relatedly, I am also interested in the ways the internet influences systems of knowledge and understanding. Really, I am just extremely online and love the internet.
